Technical Drawing

Technical drawing is the language that turns a design idea into a garment that can be read, cut, sewn and finished. In fashion, this discipline lives in the flat sketch, the measurement table, the construction detail, the material specification and the tech pack — documents that remove ambiguity and become the shared ground between designer, patternmaker and producer. The work gathered here, developed around the Dunes of the Buenos Aires Coast project, follows that exact path: from site research and body-in-motion analysis to clean line drawings, precise specs and the technical package that closes the communication loop. Every stroke, notation and dimension is a decision about how the garment will exist in the real world.

Dunes of the Buenos Aires Coast

This document gathers the full context for a project rooted in the dune landscape of the Buenos Aires coast in Argentina. Three sportswear designs were developed, framed around the potential outdoor activities of the area, with one of them fully materialised into a finished garment together with its intended context of use. The morphologies and colour palette were drawn primarily from the local flora and fauna, translating those natural forms into the technical language of the collection.
