Crystal Cage

Crystal Cage was developed in Fashion Design V from the macrotrend of politics and the idea of restricted democracy. The project explores how technology, selective information, surveillance, and manipulation shape the way society perceives reality and makes decisions. The concept of the crystal cage becomes a metaphor for an invisible form of control: transparent, fragile, and apparently harmless, yet capable of distorting collective understanding. Through illusion, perception, skepticism, panopticism, censorship, vulnerability, and digital exposure, the proposal translates political tension into a visual language of transparencies, veils, restraints, fragmentation, and fragile structures. The project was also selected as a finalist in the 6th edition of the Fashion Film Festival.
