Interstice

Interstice is my latest academic fashion design project, developed after I was selected to create a proposal connected to the European Union and inspired by France. The project begins with the idea of the interstice as a space between states: a zone of tension, gradation, and resignification where history remains in transit. Through the reconfiguration of symbols, memories, structures, and cultural wounds, the collection observes France as a country that is constantly rebuilding itself, allowing its light and fractures to coexist within the same identity. This exploration, shaped by transfiguration, collective memory, and the transformation of the dressed body, became part of Buenos Aires Fashion Week, BAFWeek, and was selected to participate in the international Marangoni Fashion Preview competition.
